2017 USAD Nationals State Champion Team Registration Process
Please follow these steps to complete the Nationals registration process.
Step 1: State directors (or supervisors for state competitions) complete the Nationals Intent to Participate & State Competition Results Form.
Due: 3 days (72 hours) after completion of the state competition.
Step 2: Coaches complete the 2017 USAD Nationals State Champion Team Registration Form.
Due: 3 days (72 hours) after completion of the state competition.
Step 3: Coaches submit your team roster using this Excel spreadsheet link. This spreadsheet includes the pronunciation form.
Due: 3 days (72 hours) after posting completion of the state competition.
Step 4: Coaches please mail your $600 participation fee payable to USAD with student transcripts, GPA calculations, and the following forms to USAD National Competition, PO Box 4351, Mankato, MN 56002. Forms with an asterisk are required for all teams. (Please mail forms for each student in the order requested in Step 4 and below.)
Coaches please note – If you would like to pay your participation fee via credit card, please contact us at (712) 326-9589. We are also requiring a Calculator Use Form this year. Please refer to the USAD calculator policy for curriculum year 2016-2017 if you have questions.
Due: Must be received by March 27, 2017
Step 5: Coaches make sure your online testing proctor completes the USAD Online Proctor Security Affidavit Form by March 27, 2017. Please refer to the 2017 Online Contest Schedule and the National Online Technical Information prior to the online practice or Essay/Art online testing.
Step 6: Complete the Team Awards Banquet Reservation form by March 27, 2017.
Step 7: Complete the Extras Form – T-shirt, additional breakfast and banquet tickets order form.
Due: March 27, 2017.
Hotel Accommodations & Transportation
Step 1: Reserve your teams rooms at one of the two host hotels (based on availibility):
Hilton: Complete the Hilton online reservation using this link.
Concourse: Complete the Concourse Guest Reservation Form and submit directly to the Hotel. (Directions for submission are on the form.)
Due: March 19, 2017 (For teams that wish to reserve additional rooms, they will be available, while they last, between March 20-25, 2017 during the open Guest reservation period).
Step 2: The Hilton and Concourse have complimentary airport shuttle service available (gratuities suggested) to the hotels – please contact them when you have retrieved your bags and are ready for pickup. Rental cars and vans are also an option. If renting a car/van at the airport and driving to the hotel, the Hilton offers valet parking for $21.00 per day or self-parking for $17 per day. The Concourse offers parking at $10/day for overnight guests or $1.50/hour to a maximum of $17 per day. Public parking lots are available at reduced rates, please view map
USAD Nationals Guests
If you have guests traveling with your team, please follow the steps below. (Coaches you are responsible for submitting the additional lunch and banquet ticket request form for guests.)
