In the correction issued to page 40 of the Science Resource Guide on June 12, an unnecessary change was made to the half reaction given in the 2nd line from the top of column 2. The only aspect of this half reaction that required a correction was the sign of the E0 value. So, the 2nd line from the top of column 2, page 40, should read:
Fe2+ → Fe3+ + e E0 = 0.77 V
And, as was noted in the original correction posted on June 12, the two sentences following this equation should thus read: “The combination of the two half reactions (3.05 V + 0.77 V) gives us a cell voltage of 3.82 V. This reaction will occur naturally only in the reverse direction, or Li + Fe3+ → Li+ + Fe2+ when the cell voltage is +3.82 V.”

___
In the Science Resource Guide, on page 24, the words “per second” should be deleted from the formula given in the 1st sentence of column 1 so that it reads simply:
.
