USAD Bios

Daniele Grigsby is the Testing Director for USAD, and lives in California. Daniele was appointed Testing Director for the United States Academic Decathlon in January 2000.  She is responsible for managing all aspects of testing development, which includes coordinating, implementing, and facilitating the production of both practice test and competition test materials. 

Terry McKiernan is the Curriculm Director for USAD, and lives in California. Terry oversees the development of USAD’s seven-subject interdisciplinary curriculum and the production of USAD’s curriculum materials, including the subject area outlines, resource guides, notebook dividers, student exercise books, and other study materials. Terry joined USAD’s staff in 1999 and has been Curriculum Director since 2000.



Amy Magnuson is the Finance Director for USAD.
